Judge Johnson I
There's been an idea brewing in the back of my mind for a semi-reoccurring feature called "Judge Johnson". It's a short column where I look at a legal case in the news and fire-off a quick blowhard verdict on it. No expensive trial, no one wasting their time trying to weasel out of jury duty, only swift justice.

I wanted to start with a local case, but couldn't resist judging Christopher Greg Killion after a friend sent me a link to this article:

TULSA, Okla. -- A Kansas man was arrested at a Tulsa strip club after police said his toddler son was left in a cold car and found wandering into the club.

Christopher Greg Killion, 31, of Sabetha, Kan., was arrested Saturday on a complaint of "encouraging a minor child to be in need of supervision." He posted $500 bond and was released from jail.

The boy told police that his father told him to stay in the car, and that if he left it, "monsters would eat him."

A manager at the club had called police to report that about 30 minutes after Killion entered the club, a 3- to 4-year-old boy came inside looking for his father.

Officers determined that the boy had been left alone in a car in the strip club's parking lot.

The car was unlocked and parked about 20 feet from a four-lane street. It was raining and 45 degrees outside at the time, an officer noted in the police report.

Verdict

I hereby sentence Mr. Killion to be immediately neutered. If there's time to anesthetize him that's fine, no big deal if there's not though. He clearly has no business raising children and preventative measures must be taken. He's 31 now so I figure he already has at least 4 children. If we project that he dies at 45 then that's anywhere from 3-7 more children he'll "father". This court can not allow that to happen.

The child will be preemptively sent to prison. I know this sounds harsh but he's just going to end up there anyway. Let's at least spare the rest of society from his future crimes (which will likely include beating-up a stripper). I'm sorry, there's really no other choice.

As for the mother of the child.. well, she presumably had sex with the father so some would say she's suffered enough already. This court disagrees and orders a neutering for her as well.
